Lotta good material from '91 on.

Flags and Emblems:

Each Dollar a Bullet
Beirut Moon
Die and Burn
No Surrender

Get a Life:

Get a Life
No Laughing Matter
Forensic Evidence
Harp
The Night the Wall Came Down

Tinderbox:

You Never Hear the One That Hits You
A River Flowing
I Could Be Happy Yesterday
My Ever Changing Moral Stance
The Message
Dust in My Eye
Roaring Boys

Hope Street:

Hope Street
Tantalize
What Does it Take?
Last Train from the Wasteland

Guitar and Drum:

Guitar and Drum
Strummerville
Dead Man Walking
Empty Sky
Can't Get Away with That
Be True to Yourself
Who Died and Made You Elvis
Protect and Serve

No Going Back:

Liar's Club
My Dark Places
One Man Island
Good Luck with That
Trail of Tears
Full Steam Backwards
When We Were Young
I like all on that list but "The Message" I'm not too enamoured by their cover of that. It feels a little too forced and obvious.
It's a bit cringeworthy, as is their cover of No sleep Til Brooklyn (Belfast).
Yeah I agree they both feel like part of their "Silly encores" routine. Should point out that I love both the originals.

Forces have been looting
My humanity
Curfews have been curbing
The end of liberty

We're the flowers in the dustbin...
No fuchsias for you.

I'll take 2 from each one..but my tastes are biased by live experiences too.
  • Long way to paradise
    No surrender
    Harp
    When the stars fall
    I could be happy yesterday
    ever changing moral stance
    hope street
    half a life
    cant get away with that
    guitar and drum
    When we were young
    Liars club
A nice mix, but not in that order.

Back To Front to me sounds like a generic SLF song. It is so similar to 2/3 other songs as if it was a fake like those Pistols songs that surfaced on various boots.
I really like Back To Front. Mr Fire Coal Man on the b side was brilliant too.
Me too, both tracks. I think with 'Nobody's Heroes' they started turning into what they ultimately became on 'Go For It' - a perfect power pop band, full of ideas and super catchy melodies.
Back To Front is Jake Burns favourite.
