I’m not a fan but his voice does work well on some songs just not all. Have to say it has got less and less appealing over time (like Tina Turner).

Meh, it has a funny little synth sound and a decently effective hook. I don't sit around and listen to it all the time but I don't go apoplectic if somebody else does.
I do hate avocado though.
