And the saxophone at the end of Eric Carmen's 'Hungry Eyes'
Love it.
Love it.
Re: The Mighty Musical Observations Thread
I discovered today that there is an all female Black Sabbath tribute band called Black Sabbitch and I missed when they came thru town last week. Also there's a similar group for AC/DC called Hells Belles.

The new album is not the first recording after 36 years. They had an Ep called "Rat Life" about 3 years ago. Look forward to hearing the album.Low Down Low wrote: ↑15 Jan 2020, 6:07pmDont know if its any kind of record but the Rats are breeding again - after a gap of 36 years! For some reason this screams Pulp to me, but its a solid tune and typically catchy. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the album.

Yeah I suppose if I was more a fan of the of the source material I'd go.

I just listened to samples of the tracks on the Ratlife EP. It wasn't something that made me excited for the next release. I hope any new material will be more to my liking.

Yeah it was back in 2013 when they released the "Ratlife" EP. Initially about 100 autographed copies on a 10" vinyl available at their re-union gigs. Then a digital download on mp3. It seemed rushed and not that great. I would describe it as average. They have had 7 years since then so I hope the album is more worthwhile.gkbill wrote: ↑19 Jan 2020, 11:42pmHello,Marky Dread wrote: ↑19 Jan 2020, 5:04pmThe new album is not the first recording after 36 years. I like "Trash Glam Baby" so there's promise.

We had a group in MKE called Judy Priest. Not sure if they're still around.

All of this reminds me there was/is? a local band called the Miss Fits. Never got around to seeing them though. Goggle tells me the female Misfits cover band thing is pretty popular. Atlanta has a band called Hymen Moments.WestwayKid wrote: ↑20 Jan 2020, 12:12pm

I once saw a triple bill, Mistress of Reality (sabbath) AC/DShe, and the Ms. Fits
