If there's one song I wish had made it past the demo stage, it's this little beauty by The La's. How do you discard songs as good as this?

There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Then it's settled. I have an idea for the first album cover. A mashup of Kermit the Frog and a Laphroaig ad called "LaFrog."

I liked Peat Muppets better before dad rock fans like Wolter started listening. The old stuff was definitely better.

Back before we signed to a major label.

And before you licensed your song "Sweaty Ass Cheese" to Subaru.

I regretted that (as did my fans), but I think they used it as tastefully as they could, given that it's a car commercial.

Wolter could still pretend that he was edgy on his way to Whole Foods to get his Andes Quinoa Krispies and alpaca milk, so good for you, Judas.

Here's a Christmas music tidbit for y'all: I learned this year that Elmo & Patsy's Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer was released as a single in the UK on none other than Stiff Records, which for some reason I find both insane and delightful.
