The act of putting a Megadeth and 3 Iron Maiden albums on the list and ahead of London Calling eliminates any credibility.

What’s the story there? Have they only ever listened to five bands or something?

Dark Side of the Moon isn’t even the best Pink Floyd album and no Pink Floyd album should sniff the top 25 of ANY list no matter what the criteria. And I’m including “Best Pink Floyd Albums.”

I was worried Wolter might be a staunch advocate for the 3 Iron Maiden albums. :shifty:

You simply can’t have Highway to Hell as AC/DCs third best album. I listened to it last week and it is near perfect first note to last. Back in Black has some great material on it, title track and You shook me probably better than any individual track on HtH but the latter is stacked in a way BiB just isn’t.

I mean, they’re better than Dark Side, but this listicle is bad even by the low standards of the medium.

Might not make anybody's number one. But it's better than a lot of shit on that list.

This list is weird, how can Slayer sit comfortably next to Sgt Pepper? The parameters are too broad.

Rolling Stone's worst top 50 album list

https://www.loudersound.com/features/th ... ums-ever/5

I like a fair amount but so much crap.
It's so predictable there's zero meaningful content there. Yeah, a few surprising picks, but generally a tired old round-up of the classic rock canon.
These lists are so boring and a total waste of space.
Yup...and even worse when coming from a terrible publication like Rolling Stone...

Is it not Classic Rock magazine? Or is that part of Rolling Stone?

I was a bit confused by this too when I first read the original post, as I wasn’t sure whether the Rolling Stones had released 50 albums ;)
