Bob and I finally got together to evaluate the state of popular music.

Your crotchety spirit is bald. You know this to be true.

And who the fuck is Jepsen?
Carly Rae Jepson of Call Me Maybe fame, not a bad number, overplayed though. Cut To The Feeling is a great number of hers though.
I was better off being ignorant in this case.
If Cut to the Feeling doesn't move you, I don't know what to tell you. That song is stellar.
To each his own and I'm fine being in the minority here but fuck that song is awful. No redeeming qualities. If you told me it was Katy Perry, Justin Bieber or that annoying skinny blonde woman I wouldn't know the fucking difference.

Now this could go back to the fingerprinting (or whatever term) that Doc has spoken about at times. My early exposure to music was not pop music. My early exposure was early hard rock and Irish folk music. Yeah there was some other stuff but that was more a passive thing.

Yeah, that's fair. My chronic sciatica points in that direction.

What an abomination.

Korn and Alice in Chains make a case for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inclusion with Blossom gig

https://www.cleveland.com/entertainment ... utType=amp
... At this stage, Korn is the far superior band.
They are not even superior to the shit I just took.
Sure everyone has personal tastes but come on.

Because I referenced my bowel movements or because of the celebration of horrible music?

Sometimes the fates converge efficiently.

I’m not here to defend AIC (though I think they have at least two cumulative albums worth of great cuts), but in no universe is Korn superior.

Yeah that's pretty much my position and the idea that Korn is superior to anything is troubling.
