Should read the drunken ramblings of the meeting of Smith, Cave & Macgowan.

MES was such an unusually magnetic figure, compelling even tho you know he's a monstrous prick. A weird comparison, but I feel the same way about LBJ—a sinister figure who nevertheless I admire for the force of their being.
Hello,

LBJ?
Lyndon Baines Johnson.
Hello,

I know of LBJ - I just didn't think it was that LBJ - oops!

Just watched this documentary, which is more of a concert film than a documentary, I guess, but either way it was awesome. These dudes could straight up rock. I wasn't around in 1969, but it seemed as when rock was getting bigger and bloated and pretentious - here come these 4 guys from Frisco who were the opposite of that: straight forward rock and roll.
I remember listening to a friends older brothers "Willy and the Poor Boys" LP when we were in grade school. I've always liked CCR & Fogerty, what's the name of the documentary you watched?
Here's the trailer:

Thanks, I'm going to check my streaming services to see if we can watch it here.

Sure sign I'm getting old when my taste in music can be considered in store "muzak".

I was just at Home Depot picking up a GFCI receptacle for my dads place and I thought I heard something decent on the in store music - Buzzcocks "What Do I Get?".

I like these types of recreations to demonstrate how much depends on conception in composition rather than technology.

I love that the testimonials at the bottom are from older housewives.

I was going to join The Fall. I passed the audition but decided the songs were to well structured.

Mark didn't like the laces on your boots, anyway, so you weren't getting the job.

He phoned me up in person to offer me the job. I said I would call back when he understood the difference between lace ups and slip ons.

Out of curiosity, I searched for bands with the most members: http://www.thecavanproject.com/bands-wi ... t-members/

They missed The Fall, who I think had over 50 members, correct?

Then he called you posh southern scum and said not to be late.
