Man, when is the Rock Against Racism DVD box set going to exist? It was obviously filmed, why can't we have this?
What are refering to Kory?
I can't even remember, I saw a performance from it, but it's totally slipped my mind now.

There's some silent footage on youtube of Elvis Costello and TRB and a short Thames TV documentary on RAR.

...This London Weekend TV special which has some cool Misty in Roots & Steel Pulse footage doing Bad Man. Some black & white footage of The Clash / Jimmy Pursey doing White Riot from face on as opposed to the Rude Boy footage of being behind the stage.

It's an intriguing mix of soft racism, yet slight gender bending, all set to a seriously crappy 80s tune.

It’s so terrible, and yet beguiling.

Not as beguiling as the father finds the nanny (watch out, C.C.).

I don't think the tune is crap, that's the best bit. The "oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh" bit is as infectious as hell.

Hello,

I recall when this first came out no one wanted to admit a desire to sing along but many wanted to sing the Oh-o-oh's.

Question for the Two-Tone crowd: What's the view on Madness' "Our House"? It's popped in my head a few times the last several days—I think it's being used for a commercial and it's penetrating my skull—and I've wondered if it's treated as legit in their catalogue or a dumb tune that caught the ear of the masses.

I like it. With a band that goofy, I think it's hard to justify anything as being "legit."

What's not to like about it
It is a good single although has been overused and thrashed in ads and TV shows etc..
