The version. If she said the didn't like the Elvis version, it doesn't make the artist "The Elvis" Come on, I thought you took words n stuff in college.

I believe "the" refers to "version," i.e. "the version that Dead Kennedys did."

The accent grave is underlined.

Clearly. Also, what's so wrong about adding "the"? Jello has used the definite article in interviews.

It should read "Dead Kennedys'", unless there's only one Dead Kennedy involved.

Often an apostrophe is used by people who don't know how to make them on a computer.

I'm channeling the Dr. Hookworm school of whimsical commentism today.

You must defend your irritation at the definite article.

Speaking of that guy, I bought a loaf of what is called "Canadian Oat Bread" in the market yesterday. If it sucks, I'm sending him a turd in the mail.

If Jello uses it, I think it's acceptable. Wolter has never been a member of (the) Dead Kennedys.

As an aside, is it 'Cream' or 'The Cream'. I see it printed as 'Cream', and then I hear some people calling them 'The Cream'. What gives?
