I do like a bit o' Devo too, Spacejunk, uncontrollable urge, Joko Homo, I remember them first time round.
And that completes my final report until we reach touchdown. We're now on full automatic, in the hands of the computers. I have tucked my crew in for the long sleep and I'll be joining them soon. In less than an hour, we'll finish our sixth month out of Cape Kennedy. Six months in deep space - by our time, that is. According to Dr. Haslein's theory of time, in a vehicle travelling nearly the speed of light, the Earth has aged nearly 700 years since we left it, while we've aged hardly at all. Maybe so. This much is probably true - the men who sent us on this journey are long since dead and gone. You who are reading me now are a different breed - I hope a better one. I leave the 20th century with no regrets. But one more thing - if anybody's listening, that is. Nothing scientific. It's purely personal. But seen from out here everything seems different. Time bends. Space is boundless. It squashes a man's ego. I feel lonely. That's about it. Tell me, though. Does man, that marvel of the universe, that glorious paradox who sent me to the stars, still make war against his brother? Keep his neighbor's children starving?.

I think this would make a great mash up with This is Radio Clash, its got a similer beat and feel in some places, if you do have a peek at this there are some lyrics written by the first poster, ...well if you're deaf like me it comes in handy

Hi, from the 80's, a slice of prophetic future sightseeing, The Three Johns with Death of the European.

Hi, Spacemen3 Playing with Fire
Personally I think this is their best album, songs & production wise, lures you in with ambient comedown sounds before launching into Stooges esque garage rock, I think Pete Kember & Jason pierce were still talking to each other when they recorded this, still stands up today, released in 88' I think.
Perfect Sunday afternoon soundtrack, but I do prefer to listen in the dark ;)

I'm in a state and She don't mind"

Found this guitarist in the late 80's, he's done some amazing guitar oriented music, he used to teach guitar, Steve Vai was one of his pupils, Joe Satriani plays from his gut, he's very technical but very fluid, theres another track called Big Bad Moon inna Rockin' Blues Boogie style from the same album, has been critisized for not having much of a voice, I personally don't have a problem with it.
JOE SATRIANI - FLYING IN A BLUE DREAM

A personal favourite, I bought a compilation album from On U Sound label called Pay it all back Vol 1 in 1985,
What a voice & a lovely production, sadly Prince Far I is no longer with us, killed in a home invasion in Jamaica, Adrian Sherwood still ripping it up though, albums Never Trust a Hippy & Becoming a Clichè / Dub Clichè, Yeah.
You know what'appen?

Talking of solo Adrian Sherwood, I would have liked to see him collaborate with The Clash, he's an Amazing forward thinking music producer:
ADRIAN SHERWOOD TWO VERSIONS OF THE FUTURE
From thee CD Becoming a Cliché

The album fearures Lee Scratch Perry, go for the 2 CD with the Dub version CD

I'm in a state and She don't mind"
