I'm glad you're rolling your eyes at your own banality in posting that.

And she is a bit more "fit".
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Then we're all in agreement.

I like Bowie's "Peter and the Wolf." It's Peter and the Wolf, people.

One of the handful of great tracks from the 80s miasma, given a nice Hunky Dory style facelift. Whatever you do, don't watch the Glass Spider version.

Of anything.

I love the rearrangement of this.

Loving the Alien is right up there with Cat People in the "Godlike Bowie that is surrounded by dated crap."

It's been a long time, but I recall they did "Sons of the Silent Age" on that tour, probably for the only time ever. I don't remember if it was any good though, but I like the song.

We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach
We speak the tongues other mouths cannot speak

Great use of Bowie's "Cat People (Putting Out the Fire)" in a key scene in "Inglourious Basterds"..
