Had to leave before the end after Bono disappeared up his own arse. First hour an a half was great the food army hits, Joshua Tree in full, but should have stopped after a cracking Rattle and Hum.
Much like their career.

Double post- I'll just mention what a scumbag tax pirate Bono is and how his One Foundation is basically a sex trafficking scam.
I've read loads of bad things about the One Campaign. About staff being harassed and the small amount/percentage of money being put forward from donations etc. But not sex trafficking not that I'm surprised at all.

I had to be that guy but I watched Bono disappear up his own arse on the War tour. The Edge kept me hanging around until Bono's bullshit became intolerable.
I was gonna say he took his head out of his to begin with?

Boring mediocrity pretty well describes that band, certainly for the past 30 years, never cared for them before that either but hey Im hard to please.
Agreed, Rattle and Hum was 31 years ago should have stopped there much like the show last night.
Not sure why I said “food army” I think that should be ‘early’ as in early hits.
I went to see Noel Gallagher it is MrsW that is the U2 fan but she was laughing at Bono with me. Cringeworthy when he was sucking up to our Prime Minister who was in the audience and included her in a montage of photos of inspirational women. Shame he doesn’t know much about NZ politics as he obviously gets his from looking at the cover of Vogue.

But fair play those early hits were great.

BTW Noel Gallagher fucking great. Half High Flying Birds and half Oasis.
Wonderwall such a better song when he sings it. Don’t Look Back In Anger brilliant version.

There was some creepy business where one of his execs was forcing female employees to have sex with local politicans.

All of these foundations are total scams anyway. Its just money laundering and tax avoidance.

Probably wouldn't appeal to a lot of you out there. I think it has Flex appeal and perhaps Wolter, probably some others. They record on Bloodshot Records which is usually a sign of quality.

Awesome . Is he playing with a band or just himself? When I saw him a few months ago just him and his guitar, great show.

I saw them this summer, they were outstanding as usual. Billy plays in a chair now.

Well hopefully the tickets come through. I had to buy them second-hand on Ticketmaster's shitty proprietary black market and it's still showing the order as "processing" a week later.

I think just himself, but not sure. Should be great either way!
