Went to an 80s festival just down the road from where I live yesterday. Good fun, even if not really my cup of tea. Odyssey, Hazel Dean, Kelly (not Kim) Wilde, Tight Fit, Martin Kemp doing DJ sets, Sonia and Heston’s mate Toyah. Her Panic Report cover versions left the crowd a bit bemused ;)

Actually I thought she was very good, certainly still got a decent voice and she was extremely energetic.
I've got this Image of you walking home whistling " the lion sleeps tonight".
I just hope they paid their royalties to that South African geezer who got shafted by Disney ( I know that doesn’t cut it down much).

I actually wanted to see Noel Gallagher I really like the latest HFB album. I wouldn’t usually go to U2 but as they are playing Joshua Tree I thought, why not.

The Massive Attack tour has been rescheduled and my tickets from the cancelled show in LA are supposedly still valid. I don't know how to find out if my ticket is valid for any of the three dates, or just for one of them, and the venue won't respond to me. Does anyone know who would actually be the authority on something like this? Obviously I can't contact the band. I'm having nightmares about booking a flight and a place to stay and then finding out my ticket is only good for the show on the day I leave or something.

edit: they responded like 5 minutes after I wrote this.

I'm good to go, I was just trying to figure out plane tickets and lodging. My only problem now is finding somebody to go with.

Go with your singer! You can bond and such.
