So what's your concert schedule looking like?

Shonen Knife are coming to the next town over in October, so I'm well chuffed!

Chuffed is a word I always almost say before I catch myself, since I'm in the states. I read too many interviews with British musicians.

I got free Misfits tickets, here in LA the openers are Rise Against, Distillers, Anti-Nowhere League and Cro-Mags. I don't have the energy to sit through the whole thing so we'll probably get there for Distillers. the fucking Oakland show has Rancid and Damned, what the fuck! Trade, anyone?

I wanna see Rancid! It's been years. I am seeing the Damned next week though, with X and Rev. Not for free though, I paid for that one. If Misfits, Damned and Rancid was in LA, I'd have paid for that.revbob wrote: ↑28 Jun 2019, 5:21amSome people do have it rough.tepista wrote: ↑28 Jun 2019, 12:39amI got free Misfits tickets, here in LA the openers are Rise Against, Distillers, Anti-Nowhere League and Cro-Mags. The Mod band from the late 70’s? They were great (not as great as Secret Affair) didn’t know they were still around.

That was them. I had one (1) can of red stripe, watched the League of Gentlemen and decided I couldn't be bothered to go out again. Had a Chinese. Was a good night.101Walterton wrote: ↑05 Jul 2019, 7:37amThe Mod band from the late 70’s? They were great (not as great as Secret Affair) didn’t know they were still around.

Shame The Chords are fucking great and better than Secret Affair. Strummer liked 'em.Silent Majority wrote: ↑06 Jul 2019, 4:48amThat was them. I've got all The Chords and Secret Affair albums. The Secret Affair singles are great but some of the album tracks are weak. The Chords are much better with more of a punk edge than mod.101Walterton wrote: ↑06 Jul 2019, 5:25pmDo You Know what that is? Jawbox fuckin' killed it last night. Like no time had passed, they still rock like they're in their 20s. Just astoundingly good. Great, full sound too, certainly the best I've heard at this particular venue.
