Propagandhi, March 1, and They Might Be Giants, March 15.
I really wanted to see TMBG in Seattle but it sold out in like 2 seconds.

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Depeche Mode just announced a few additional dates in the US. Tulsa is only a five hour drive, so I am going to see them again on May 29.

5 hour drive, holy shit you are worse than me and Bruce.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Also keep in mind that literally no bands that I like, except for the Violent Femmes and the Pixies, have come to STL in the past few years. So I am willing to take a road trip to see my second favorite band.

I totes get it. I guess I live close enough to major cities that I don't have to make the trek.

I presume that means you'd be willing to make a similar road trip to see your #1 favorite band, Van Halen.

ETA: I surely wouldn't need to. They obviously always come here. And, thankfully, VH has a cadre of native-to-St. Louis friends he can take with him so I can do something more enjoyable, like my taxes or dipping myself in a vat of acid.

If by stir, you mean shrivel up and die, then yes.

I’ve got tickets for David Byrne in June. Beyond excited. Laura Mvula is supporting him - I don’t know huge amounts of her stuff but what I’ve seen is impressive.
