I think that's why VH liked X so much - reminded him of DLR and Michael Anthony's harmonizing. I sent him the divorce papers shortly after.
So what's your concert schedule looking like?

You already know I like those first three (and Busted Stuff is alright too), but can we REALLY consider them a Seattle band just because Dave lives by the QFC in Wallingford? Maybe.

Their Unplugged album is alright, but I was referencing Minus the Bear (again only their second and third albums). They have some of that interlocking guitar stuff that I like.JennyB wrote: ↑20 May 2019, 12:36pmAlice in Chains?Kory wrote: ↑20 May 2019, 12:29pmBlech!revbob wrote: ↑19 May 2019, 4:01pmI was going to say but Kory I thought Temple of the Dog just put out one album.

going to see Supersuckers and Speedealer (formerly REO Speedealer) in a few minutes. SS is gonna do Evil Powers of Rock n Roll in its entirety for its 20th anniversary.

I just came across this local band. Flex would approve two robot thumbs up I'm guessing. I'm going to try and catch a show they look fun and around here there's so many damn hippie shows that you gotta take advantage of anything that bucks that trend. It like yeah it isnt members of Phish doing Grateful Dead covers.

Yeah they are a little over the top but they seem fun, I'll give it a go. Important to support local people trying to do something. The last good local band I saw was decades ago (the old band of Eugene Hutz of Gogol Bordello fame) partly because I'm out of the loop/can't make it to shows. And like I said the hippie scene is strong here.Marky Dread wrote: ↑30 May 2019, 8:38pmI Like the track but boy are they trying too hard with their image.revbob wrote: ↑30 May 2019, 8:20pmI just came across this local band. I saw them last night at First Ave. Brilliant show.
Encore songs were:
1. An instrumental that I did not recognize
2. Ghost Town, with a superb extended ending
3. You're Wondering Now
