Thanks lads, gotta admit I lost my mind when they played "The Murder of Liddle Towers."
I just polished off some Low Country shrimp & grits and a mess of collards. That's a hell of a strain on the arm.

We never got bottled off so has to go down as a success story.

That makes me think of the Blues Brothers in the country and western bar!

Congratulations on the support slot, great stuff. How were the nerves?

I never actually get nervous before gigs. I sometimes get a bit anxious about equipment failure but once I know everything is working I am fine.

Good riddance.

Elton and Phil down, only Sting to go.

Eh, he cut some great records up until about '74.

Yeah he did. Shame about the last 44 years though.

Maybe it's different in the UK, but outside of some scattered (good singles) from his other mid-70s efforts, you don't really hear anything from Elton outside of those early classic records here. He actually did a great album with Leon Russell in 2010, tho.

I think his greatest song is Philadelphia Freedom, I love the shit outta that record.

He's not going to stop playing gigs 'till he drops down dead.
