...jiggles my fancy. I'm digging it. Not quite up there with his masterworks but better than his last couple albums. Some folks here don't dig Danger Mouse's production style but I rather like it here (disclaimer: I rather like most albums he produces). He gives Beck a bit of the Gnarls Barkley treatment, which fits well.
A keeper, says I.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Didn't Danger Mouse produce the new Black Keys thing? That makes him cool in my book.

How does it compare to Guero and The Information? As much as I wanted to like those albums, I never really got into them. Honestly, I think this might be the first Beck album I'll skip since I got into him in 96.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
