Massive Attack Straight To Hell

Post by dave202 »

I remember reading that Massive Attack had planned to cover "Straight To Hell" with Horace Andy, but he didn't want to sing about Ibrox, sorry, Hell, and they changed the soundscape to covering his own classic "Angel" Is there any truth in this? Does anyone know of a version of their original vision? Come to think of it, why hasn't Horrace done more work on Clash stuff other than "Living In The Flood"?

this whole thread is confusing me.

Massive Attack covering "Straight to Hell" would be awesome.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead

Old Firm Rivalry.

It's a football (round) and religious thing.

See the reference to Ibrox being "hell" in the first post.

You're English. I can't even prove you have a central nervous system, much less feelings.

Every house in England had a central nervous system by 1979. Paraffin heaters were banned the same year.

Inadequate? Like the kid who pisses himself on the first day of school? Like there's a massive void in your life? Tell me when I'm getting close.
