Los Campesinos! - Frontwards (Pavement) (yes, it's actually better)
Franz Ferdinand - What You Waiting For (Gwen Stefani)
All The Clash's released covers.

I don't know a lot of covers, apparently.
Just listened to Shadowplay by The Killers. Flowers doesn't have the voice for it.
I like that cover, it's very different from the original. But not better.

My Bloody Valentine - Map Ref 41N 93W (Nowhere near as good as wire but still a great version)
Somebody was trying to tell me that CDs are better than vinyl because they don't have any surface noise. I said, "Listen, mate, "life" has surface noise."

No, not as good as the original, but, yeah, a seriously good cover, arguably the best track on Whore.

Fuck. Yes.

A few that are better than the original:
Jeffrey Lewis - Where Next Columbus? (Crass)
All of his Crass covers are better than the originals.

Social Distortion - Under My Thumb

Nope, can't agree with The Specials, Prince Buster's Al Capone is untouchable :naughty:
