You know, it's not terrible.
It's not significantly worse than the original, at least.
A limbo impossible for an ant.

Sounds a bit like Radiohead.
Coincidentally and in related horrific monkeying about: http://exclaim.ca/comedy/article/someon ... er_happier
True story: I listened to this this morning, and now I'm sterile and also I tore my ears out.

I think you should sue Kevin Smith for every hockey jersey and denim culottes he's got.

It's Super Bowl weekend, and Stop & Shop has discounted its overstock of Crystal Pepsi by 50% because they can't sell any of it. On account of last week's millennial nostalgia pangs turning into sober realization that, yes, it tastes exactly as terrible as you have now been reminded it did the first time around.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, "MMM Bop" is basically a lost Jackson 5 song.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

They all got married when they were 19 or 20 and started pumping out kids. I think they are some rando religion.

The entry on Slacker is actually sorta moving. Good calls on the others, too.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

I want to like Slacker—bits and pieces are good—but it never escapes being an artist's conception of alienation than something actually recognizable.

Agreed. I always forget that Pump Up The Volume is from 1990, because it seems so 80s to me. Great movie.
