I think Repeater is their best.

Again, the best thing about Fugazi is that when someone tells me what their favorite album is, I can't dispute their choice too much.

It was a great show. Maybe 100-150 in the audience. It was in a church function hall in Cambridge, MA. $5 at the door with MacKaye and Lally working the door for a while. I saw them 5 times in all, each show go bigger than the last. They played a great show in 1990 or 1991 at Mass College of Art which was killer. Again, $5.

Another of a long list of bands I missed by virtue of living in a town that was slightly off the touring routes.BostonBeaneater wrote:It was a great show. Maybe 100-150 in the audience. If they ever get back together I will literally kill to see them if I have to.

1991 would have made me 8-9 years old. I don't even want to think about what I might have been listening to at the timeWolter wrote:Another of a long list of bands I missed by virtue of living in a town that was slightly off the touring routes.BostonBeaneater wrote:It was a great show. Fugazi is why I am so glad I went to college in Washington, DC. My favorite album is Repeater, though my favorite song is probably Suggestion.

P.S. I'm listening to "Suggestion" at this exact instant. Totally coincidental.
Kidding aside, what an awesome song.

Repeater was the first album I ever bought with my own money.
Got to see them 3 times during the mid-90's. Each time was life-changing.

Re: Fugazi
I only got into Fugazi after listening to Minor Threat, Best fugazi album would have to be 'Repeater' or 'In On The Killtaker' but there all good even 'The Argument' has good bits. You should also check out the documentary called 'Instrument'
Best song of Repeater :Shut The Door
Best song of In On The Killtaker : Facet Squared

Somebody was trying to tell me that CDs are better than vinyl because they don't have any surface noise. I said, "Listen, mate, "life" has surface noise."
Re: Fugazi
personally rate Argument as their best record
I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .
