BIG hair music

Joking aside, the only metal bands outside of the extreme end of metal (i.e., death, doom, grindcore, etc.) that I like beyond nostalgia are:

• Maiden
• Priest (but only in small doeses)
• Motorhead (which takes a lot of cues from punk)
• Sabbath (which is really more of a hard rock band)
• AC/DC (which is more of a bluesy, ballsy, kickass bar band)
• Appetite-era G'n'R (most of the rest of thier career can suck my balls, but I maintain that that album is closer to Johnny Thunders mixed with AC/DC than more people would want to admit)
• A random assortment of W.A.S.P. songs - because they are so cartoony
• I can still sort of appreciate Master of Puppets for what it meant to me at 14 or so, even though Metallica are the douchiest bags of douche in the history of douches being bagged.

Metallica are always finding new ways to bag themselves into doucheville.

He was last seen washing car windows in the Bronx before his death. Speculation is that he's probably buried in one of NYC's potter's fields. It's a damn shame. What a talent.
