Which "Ramones related tunes"?
Dee Dee's and Joey's solo albums.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I unironically (and unsurprisingly) love all of Dee Dee's albums. Standing in the Spotlight gets more play than any other.

I can't put into words how cool that man was.

I actually think Dee Dee should have gotten more props. His vocal style is fun for me.

Joey's solo album is fun as well.

Dee Dee's albums are damned fun and Joey's was this great moment. I think there's a lot of emotion tied up into the album due to the circumstances surrounding it, sort of like Joe's last album. It plays well next to any Ramones album too, which I think of as high praise.

Hey matey, did your download include the "Sibling Rivalry" ep? If not, I can upload it for ya (and for others) at some point.

All the way to the end, when he could find the focus he was still a brilliant songwriter. Imagine Joey singing this.

For anyone who doesn't have it:

Sibling Rivalry - In a Family Way [Alternative Tentacles, 1994]:

This is a little project by Joey Ramone with his brother Mickey Leigh. A minor entry in the Ramones canon, but kinda fun. Track three, I believe, isn't actually done by the brothers and is just sort of a tacked on bit of weirdness. Fun stuff.

Interesting. That was not included in the torrent. Also missing is the Funky Man single.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I'm sure the Futurity theme song (a slide whistle and homemade kazoo, accompanied by a palsied child drumming on an assortment of pots and pans) is vastly preferable as well. Also, the show is about three elderly men living above a Kebab shop in Luton, and their wacky misadventures. This long running series was just lavishly collected on NTSC DVD, so Americans can finally own all four episodes for only $79.99 at Best Buy.
