The Who
Re: The Who
I like the Who's 80's releases. "Face Dances" has at least 6 quality tracks out of 9. "Its Hard" is a good album except for the
boring opening track, and that terrible song "I've Known no War" which sounds like the '80's Who trying to sound like the '70's Who
and not even getting close.
As far as the 70's stuff, Quadrophenia is brilliant, one of my favorite albums.

Re: The Who
There's a few good numbers after Keith's death ('Real Good Lookin' Boy', 'The Better You Bet') but nothing amazing. Keith made the Who amazing.MadModWorld wrote:The Who = PWNage.

Re: The Who
All I've heard is You Better You Bet & random snippets from Who documentaries.
I read the lyrics to RGLB once, they were nice.

Best Album : Quadrophenia or Who's Next
Quadrophenia is one of those albums you need to own on vinyl especially when u get the book inside the gatefold when you open it.
It even sounds better on vinyl

Somebody was trying to tell me that CDs are better than vinyl because they don't have any surface noise. I said, "Listen, mate, "life" has surface noise."
Re: The Who
I don't like the Tommy album, the mix is terrible and there are only few songs on it that are decent imo. Didn't they playSuzanne H. wrote:I think Tommy's a little overrated.
I mean, it's good. It has some great tracks indeed, I love Go To The Mirror for example. But I don't see how it got so popular.
it at Woodstock? That probably boosted sales of the lp.

Re: The Who
I took my ma to see the Who back in 2000 or so... One of the last outings before The Ox died, and definitely in the top 3 shows I've ever been to.

Re: The Who
I'd kill to see The Who but it's far too expensive. Ridiculous money.

If you can swing it, I hear they still put on a pretty good show.MadModWorld wrote:I'd kill to see The Who but it's far too expensive. Ridiculous money.
