You have the new Judas Priest yet? We have some sort of fancy-pants special edition of it here at Ye Ole Phonograph Shoppe

No, but I almost bought it yesterday. Instead, I got a Birthday Party compilation and an Eisnturzende Neubaten album.

I'm a Priest enthusiast myself, but I couldn't bring myself to listen to anything post-Defenders, maybe a little Painkiller, but that's it.

I really, really love the song "Judas Rising," from a couple of years ago, so I know they still make fun stuff.

And frankly: a two-disc Priest-created concept album based on Nostradamus has the potential to be either so awful that it's awesome, or so awesome that it rips a hole in reality itself and starts creating the future instead of just predicting it.

The new album (either regular or deluxe edition) comes with a coupon for a free ticket to said tour.

Apparently, I am now advertising for a band I don't even often listen to. :shifty:

Well, at one point, they were Allman Brothers Band rejects:

Early on they used to do these promo photos with Rob hanging around with scantily clad women. Can you imagine if all those 80's era 14 - 16 year old male fans had discovered at that time that Rob was gay?

And rightly so. Priest at the top of their game (admittedly rare) are far better than Kiss. Especially solo Kiss.
