Anyone else collect flyers/posters/badges, etc? I went on a kick for a long time but have reined it in.

Most legible writing I've ever seen of Shane's.

Amazing what 40 years and a million pints can do.

I can’t imagine the excess. I met him once, nearly 20 years ago. Nothing was intelligible (from either side of the conversation.)

Very cool collection. I used to work in a record store but didn't have the foresight to save the posters and promotional artwork, hindsight really is 20 / 20.modskint wrote: ↑07 Jul 2023, 9:15amAnyone else collect flyers/posters/badges, etc? I went on a kick for a long time but have reined it in.

Re: The Ephemera Hoard
I've got a lot of band-related posters framed and mounted around the house. Some album promo posters, others concert posters. Off the top of my head, stuff from Swans, Wire, the Clash, the Fall, the Go-Go's, the Trashcan Sinatras, Eels, and Idlewild.

I have way too many posters, most of them in tubes leaning in the corner—I don't know what to do with them.

Both variations of the Stingrays ‘87 German tour poster. I love this band.
