RCA Records

Post by 101Walterton »

Going to a record fair on Saturday. One of the vendors has got a huge box of brand new previously unsold records on RCA label from 1970’s and 1980’s.
Was that Bowie’s label back then?
Who else was on it?

I think The Kinks were also on RCA...starting maybe with Muswell Hillbillies.

Peter Wolf isn't the J Geils singer (Peter Wolfe) but an Austrian producer I only know because he nearly butchered Big Country's 4th album 'Peace In Our Time' in '88.

Only for 'The Idiot' and 'Lust For Life' and the live 'TV Eye' though. Under Bowie's auspices, of course.

A couple days ago, I played "No Anchovies, Please" to some people while we were arguing about pizza toppings.
