A friend of mine used to be a music journo but wasn't an especially political guy, so on occasion he'd ask for my input before he'd interview more socially minded musicians. One time he asked for some questions before talking to Jello Biafra. I gave him some decent-ish ones—are there any people in Congress you respect? Maxine Waters—but insisted he ask what embarrassing-to-his-rep song would he cop to liking. The answer (which didn't make it into the article, I don't think): Glenn Frey's “The Heat is On.” I so want a chance at some point to heckle him about that.

I...I...think I don't hate the band Live as much as I used to. I mean, I know intellectually that they are terrible. But, dare I say, they have some tasty tunes?

Must have been me. But I so love the idea of Jello enjoying an Eagles-related song.

I didn't know Turn It On Again was in the shame bin, I assumed most people loved it.

This is probably the most uncool song I really love...

My mate's mercilessly take the piss out of me for it but I don't care.

There are some people around here who don't appreciate Phil Collins...

I’m not a fan however nor do I hate Phil Collins (never understood where the hate comes from). Turn It On Again is probably one one of his best.
