I love the shelf, but I am very disappointed that it's not upside down since you are in New Zealand and I was told you were upside down.

That is one really cool shelf.
Thanks Jenny you are correct it was but Marky flipped it over 😉

Nice ‘shelf portrait’ 101w.... a lot of overlap with my collection too.
But I’m intrigued by the aluminium flight case.
Is it a previously-unheard-of ‘magic suitcase edition’ of Carbon Silicon back catalogue... or (since it’s partially obscured by the Strummer 001 box on top) a guilty pleasure - like a Kiss Kollection?!

All is revealed.... a very nice selection of Clash boots. In a nice desert-island/ emergency-room / easily-portable container.
And which ALSO matches a lot of my collection!
(rushes off to check for signs of a break-in and to check nothing is missing...)

I always wondered what John Travolta was looking at in Pulp Fiction, no wonder he was impressed!

Totally shelfish!

Other than your Two-Tone box I've exactly the same stuff. :approve:
That has my almost complete 2 Tone 7” singles collection, one left to go.
Nice I saw those boxes being sold on ebay. Nearly bought a Clash one. So do you all the bands on Two-Tone or just The Specials. Friday Club/Costello etc etc.
I’m tempted to get a Madness one but have to finish the 2Tone collection first 🤓
I collect them by catalogue # Just waiting on a delivery then I’ll show you 😊

Same here! Nice flight case for travelling? Top quality in any case.

Your picture is only let down by that photo of Nobby Stiles

Yep Snoh put out some brilliant compilations.
I remember there was one set he made I wished I got which was a reproduced Japanese Box set of (if I remember correctly) Bonds residency?

Yeah the Bonds box set was brilliant, a true labour of love. Don't know about the "Japanese" thing, I think Julie Jazz was responsible for the artwork.

I had to fetch mine from the customs and it looked so professional, they never realized it was a bootleg.

10 Commandments (of Saffiyah Khan).
Brilliant track in so many ways matched only by the inspiring backstory.
Whether this is the real Specials or not that track alone proves Encore is a Specials album and the Specials ideals (from Jerry) are all over this album.

I'm glad you like that track. It does feel like a distant cousin to the Boiler.

Yes ties together Prince Busters original, The Boiler and Khan’s own story of today over a fantastic track.
I was always going to like this album but far exceeds my expectation. Gil mentioned the 2 ‘spoken’ tracks but both are delivered perfectly so don’t come across as narrated to me especially Black Lives Matter which is (as I hoped it would be) is Why part 2.
