All of those awful McCartney songs that Inder swoons over. :yuck:
NOW LOOK HERE, SWANSBOY

The true Swansman fears the Swan, yet respects the Swan.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

edit: I think I need to hear a Love/Gira collaboration because it would be the perfection of disaster.

I was at the gas station this morning and they were playing "Piano Man" by Billy Joel as I pumped gas and as I was forced to listen to it - I felt this "anger" building inside of me because I hate that song so much. It was a relief to be able to jump back into my car. The song was still going strong as it's like 30 verses long.
I would have left. Piano Man is indeed the worth song in the history of Earth.

I'd love to be the fly on the wall when love explains to gira the songwriting process to make kokomo

And then Gira explains how they recorded “Raping a Slave.”

Another one I wouldn't turn off. There is MUCH MUCH worse out there.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

There was a long conversation about Swans at the bar tonight, which I will bottom-line here, on account of keyboard troubles:

"Oh, my buddy really likes Swans!"
"Is he an asshole?"
"Well..."
[piercing gaze]
"I mean, he has strong opin—"
[gaze intensifies]
"OK, I guess he's an asshole?"
"SEE, I TOLD YOU"

I was using Flex’s definition of songs I hate from bands I otherwise don’t mind (albeit I only like early UB40).

 To be fair, I have zero interest in ever meeting a Swans fan because, well, they seem like assholes or cultists.

It reminds me of a certain place and time...but I could take it or leave it, too.
