I'd be down. Nothing on YouTube from the reunion is remotely listenable.
I've not heard any live recordings of theirs that fall under remotely listenable.
True. Not even their live album.
I'm so punk, I don't even take my leather jacket off when it catches fire. Which it does frequently, because of how fucking punk I am.

What did y'all think of American Psycho? Like if you could separate it from actually being the Misfits and pretend it's another band? For my part at least, those songs get stuck in my head all the time.

I found it to be pretty mediocre pop punk. Very forgettable.

I remember liking The Devil's Rain on first listen but I only listened to it like 3 times and couldn't remember a song from it to to save my life.

I have it somewhere and that rarities album Cuts From the Crypt. I enjoyed a few songs. Like the Haunting and Don't Open til Doomsday on American Psycho. The alternate version of the former and the songs from Romero's movie Bruiser on the rarities collection were pretty good. Mars Attacks was a fun song too but I forget which one it was on. I haven't listened to them since I was in high school, I believe. While nothing is as memorable as Danzig-era they could string together some good simple vocal melodies. Never bothered with Famous Monsters or Project 1950.

Yeah, me neither, but a few of the tracks from AP are serious earworms.

I thought the production had too much compression and the guitarist loved pinched harmonics too much. Every song was a guitar squeal-fest. "Satan" and "Devil's Angels" were top notch though.

I've actually never listened to any post Danzig Misfits. Project 1950 looks the most interesting.

Back in the early 90's I spent some time in Yokaichi Japan. I remember seeing flyers for the "Japanese Misfits" (not Balzac) hanging around in a few places. I should have kept one. I was never able to make a show though.
