Eddie Vedder has a fan would be a more shocking headline
We reach the parts other combos cannot reach
We beach the beachheads other armies cannot beach
We speak the tongues other mouths cannot speak

The major flaw in his resumé.

I once read an article that described Pearl Jam as Bad Company with knit caps and better goatees!

I will admit to liking them as a teenager back in the 90's - but they quickly lost me and by now - all these years later - I just can't remember anything I liked about them.

Wow, that description is perfect. I was in college when their first album came out, and I absolutely did not get what all the buzz was about. I thought they sounded like an average classic rock band, and Vedder seemed (and continues to be) insufferable. I much preferred Alice In Chains to any of the other grunge bands.

Wow. I think we've had two Bad Company references today (Flex expressed a sincere dislike for Paul Rodgers in a another thread)!?

I was quite certain Paul Rogers was dead during a bar conversation a couple weeks ago. They googled me wrong.

I just know he'll be "bad company until the day" he "dies"...
