He's always been a pretty cool looking dude - but that look was awful. This isn't entirely on topic, but as much as I love DM's Songs of Faith and Devotion, I hated, hated hated (and still hate) Dave Gahan's look during that era. I get it. You love the grunge thing. But you are not in a grunge band and you look silly. I don't care if you were in the throes of your heroin addiction. Get a haircut.

No, lol. Though I have proclaimed my love for Steve Buscemi. But he's not the other one.Kory wrote: ↑06 Aug 2018, 3:59pmThe other is Paul Giamatti right? How long have you been waiting to work that into a conversation?

Yeah, it's not a bad cover. It's just not the Ramones in my opinion. No Johnny, Dee Dee or Marky. Didn't Dee Dee once claim that Spector pointed a gun at him and then forced the band to listen to him play Baby, I Love You on the piano for hours on end?
My main issue is not with the track - I just think Spector could have found a better home for it. EOtC is not a great album lyrically - but it has a great sound to it. The first side pretty much rocks from start to finish (with the exception being Danny Says - but even that song has the band on it) and then the second side begins with Baby, I Love You and it's always been a buzzkill. I sometimes skip it - and then they ramp it back up again...but I wouldn't have included it on the album. Solo Joey single or something like that.

This is very true. I burned a copy for the radio station after some idiot lost, misfiled or stole the original and I put the vocal version on it.

Yes, after Wolter stole the original.
