Re: Music opinion/question of the week...
I wear t-shirts on weekends since the work dress code requires button down shirts during the week. As alluded to above, I typically wear souvenir tour shirts (or sports related shirts). I don't really go in for t-shirts that I can buy off the rack wherever - I like to wear stuff that reminds me of particular experiences I really enjoyed.
And they make me look cool.

My sister and I used to pour over the Burning Airlines catalog back in the early 90's. The local record shop always had print copies that we'd take home and page through endlessly...

The only Joy Division shirt that I'd want:

I don't wear concert t-shirts anymore, so I make my child wear them. And he's seen Blondie (his first concert), the Violent Femmes and the Pixies (with Mitski opening), so he is much cooler than I (although I was at all of those concerts with him, but I digress...).
Got a Rake? Sure!

Good lord, we dress the same. My usual outfit for teaching is Chucks, jeans, a t-shirt, and a cardigan (or a plaid shirt). My joke is that I'm usually dressed worse than 3/4's of my students.

Other than a Goo-era Sonic Youth t-shirt that I've almost worn to death and just can't part with (it's been in my shirt drawer, unworn, for probably 15 yrs) I don't have any more concert tees. I used to wear them until they fell apart or I got too fat for.
