All IMCTers should quit after five years.
Screw you, the core posters are pursuing that Beach Boys / Rolling Stones staying-well-past-their-prime strategy.

I guess that is better than leaving and coming back as a Snews tribute act.

Not really a question...more of an opinion...but recently read an article about Badfinger. Turns out they have a local connection. In the early 80's - the remnants of the band were lured to my hometown of Milwaukee by a shady promoter. He promised them gigs and a new lease on their career - but there were no gigs (at least not any decent gigs) and they more or less were trapped in the suburb of Hales Corners - living in a model home that did not contain any furniture. They didn't have the money to fly back to England. They (especially Tom Evans) spent many nights drinking in a bar I've frequented on occasion. Kind of crazy to think of those guys stuck mere miles from my home.

Here's a clip from a local access station in Milwaukee:

They went from hanging out with the Beatles to singing on stage with a character named Tolouse NoNeck in Wisconsin...

Interesting fact. Al Molinaro was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin - about 40 miles south of Milwaukee!

Your honour, objection to the characterization of the fact as interesting. :shifty:

I like Badfinger. Their story has to be one of the saddest in rock 'n' roll history.

Not the character who I primarily think of, but yes. The Odd Couple was definitely the better sitcom.

Klugman and Randall had a rare chemistry. I watched syndicated episodes a couple years ago and was a bit aghast at the crude racial humour, but those two still made watching worthwhile.

The only one I can recall was when there was the Native American college football player from Alaska. Even as a young kid I thought some of those jokes were wrong/dumb. Although I dont remember anything specific about them. Was there other stuff? It was a pretty white cast as I recall.
