What is the Mega embargo?
I can’t use Mega.
It is a NZ based company who’s (alleged previous) owner is under investigation for his involvement in M&@$upload He is also in middle of extradition proceedings by US on racketeering, money laundering and piracy charges.
Several people in NZ charged with illegal downloads.
VPN, hombre.
How secure is that?
Depends on the company you use, but do some research. I subscribed to PureVPN after getting a warning email over a torrent and haven't heard anything since.
If it was anything other than the above company I would be ok with it but bearing in mind the size of the investigation into the 'ex' owners criminal activities by NZ and US a lot of people getting caught up in the net.

Fair enough. There's always a risk/reward assessment to be made, and your location might sensibly tilt it enough to aversion.

This is how serious they are taking it and trust me this didn't come out of the NZ Police budget!!

Marky, not sure if you usually take requests (tho I know a couple projects started that way), but if you're ever looking for a project I'd be deeply interested in seeing what you can do with Fugazi's Steady Diet of Nothing. Great songs, good recordings, but a bone-dry mix that - if touched up - could possibly turn that record into one of the band's great triumphs (imho, of course). Seems like a candidate for this project, in any case.

If you supply me with the Flac files I would be glad to give it a go.

Surprise buddy surprise!

Probably the most underrated band ever. This should interest Doc, Muppet and GKBill.

Hello,

Thanks, Marky! I agree - very under-rated meaning everyone should give them a listen and you've provided an opportunity! This is great stuff.

If Marky likes them, that should prompt everyone else to check them/this out.
