Remember when people on here used to get worked up over thread drift?
Now, the Castle of Otranto is a superb fairytale with some wrenching melodrama thrown in but Walpole was an absolute melt in his Burkean politics.

Amazing how much more personality Ronan Keating has compared to Gregg Alexander. Ronan must have been astonished to find that his singing was more charismatic than another living man.

Hoy should listen to Construction Time Again through Ultra at least. I imagine Speak & Spell is too Vince Clarke for him.

Found out the other day that when I was living in Maine I was only about an hour away from Vince Clarke's place!
Ew gross, DM is so blah.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Love, In Itself has a nice double time chorus.

Gregg Alexander released his first album in 1989, thus making New Radicals a good band, apparently.

I was fighting to keep that song out of my head until I read the lyrics. Curious to know what the dreamer's disease is? I'm thinking maybe some sort of STD...

Really good song but I stopped liking them not long afterwards because they stopped being a good pop band and became all serious and shit.
