Getting back to the original topic - I still find myself searching out new music. I just turned 41. Yes, I have my old favorites - but I like to think I'm still curious enough to look for new sounds - but that doesn't always mean "new" new - it can be discovering bands that had broken up before I was born.
Double Post. I will use this opportunity to add that evidently, Ed Sheeran is all the rage on White Twitter.

My favorite current artist is Janelle Monae. Don't know if she's your thing, but she is amazing.
I saw her at Glastonbury (on tv) round 7-8 years ago and she was amazing. Bought a couple of albums since which aren’t bad but don’t grab me as much as that live performance.

Surely you meant "I saw her at Glastonbury on tv (round) 7-8 years ago."

Apart from the local connection I actually like Lorde.
