Can't find a link to it, but her new thing with her younger sister Barbara Streisland, 'For Lovers Only: A Tribute to Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music', is great and side/movement 4 is totally rad. Especially the locked groove at the end when Babs hits that high C note.
This is the biggest pile of crap I've ever heard. Makes the Fuckin' Shit Biscuits sound like Marvin Gaye. ;)
What? You don't like it? Sure, Babs seems a bit out of place sometimes, but her sis Barbara Streisland is all over it. Very poignant stuff.
Well of course Streisland is good but not a patch On her cousin Barbara Streisand. She has a voice like gravel thrown on top of tarmac. Makes Tom Waits sound like Karen Carpenter.
Exactly, and that's what I love about cousin Barbara - so different from Barbara Streisland and her massive screech - so fitting for the album - and Babs' sensual bombastic shrieking. Gotta have those counterpoint tonalities going on in a project like this.
That album should've been an EP.

Eh, I think it should have been twice as long. Twice as long to think about it; to consider its meritts, its pitfalls.

No they should've squeezed all the tracks on an EP. And given it away with packets of Museli.

Nah, that would have betrayed a large part of the the beauty of the thing. Babs might have agreed, but sis Barbara Streisland would most certainly not. Cousin Barbara Streisand might concur, but that would finish her limited career.

I love "Enough is Enough" - her duet with Donna Summer. That's about it.
I hate that song with a passion.
That's because you aren't a woman or gay man.

I mean it also doesn’t help that it sucks wet farts from dead pigeons.

OK, I didn't actually mean that. But you get my drift!
