Yeah, I know of Callas. That makes 6.
 all right, how many conductors can you name
Blakey and then I'm struggling mate.
I have hereby demonstrated that Heston's citation of Caruso is unremarkable. I rest my case.

The two of them arguing about anything would be a perfect bowl of popcorn. Music, food, film … it'd be an Abbott & Costello routine.

The best part is I actually like Heston's music, despite the unbridgeable gulf between us on other aesthetic matters.

Like the time you made me listen to Swans and you had to listen to 2 hours of KISS? Sweet memories....

Good times. I got to exercise my snark muscles and you were tortured by some great music that was outside your tastes. I won both rounds. Which is all that really matters.

Axl sounds like a parrot with its balls caught in a vice.
Ha! I used to describe Sebastian Bach's voice as having his nuts in a vice. Really, tho, he had a generic metal singer's screech.
Yuck. I think there have been some great metal singers - Rob Halford comes to mind...but hair metal produced some truly awful singers. More about image and how you looked in tight trousers than how well you could sing.
I thought Ronnie James Dio was a good rock singer but never had much decent material to work with bar one Rainbow album. I loved Bon Scott's voice but he was another who wasn't technically great, just a very odd, lustful sounding voice.
I'll have to agree with Heston once again.

I've been primed by Music From the Elder so I could be ready for it.
