Re: The Jam 1977 Box Set
This should be fun. I know they made their critical mark a bit later in their career for the most part, but I really dig those first two records, and they were a fine straight ahead punk band in their early days.

I like both the albums. I'm uncertain if I'll buy this as I have everything bar a few of the demos. All the stuff on the DVD is previously available.

Yet again the Jam put the Clash to shame with the care and time taken on their back catalogue. Is Trish Ronan still looking after the Clash's business interests in true Spinal Tap style?
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Love those 2 albums but I have just about all of that so I think I'm gonna pass
Re: The Jam 1977 Box Set
Agreed absolutely about the way Jam fans are spoiled re. archive releases, compared (hem hem) to some contemporary bands
This looks great, but I too might well settle for just buying it as a download, for the demos and Nashville live stuff.

You guys beat me to it.
Yep another great Jam release. Not sure I will invest in this one for same reasons as above but looking forward to something similar with All Mod Cons!!!

I doubt AMC will get a simillar treatment as it's already had a deluxe release.101Walterton wrote: ↑28 Jul 2017, 12:49amYou guys beat me to it.
