Oh no, "getting in shape" as in putting on the style. My workout playlist is Seasons in the Sun on repeat.

Also, it's very much not that Robert Johnson doing Burning Love.

Ah well, it works for both. Nice list!

Also, it seem like this Robert Johnson went to the crossroads and signed a pact with Joe Jackson. heh

I love that Utopia song.
So what does Marconi playing the mamba mean? "Marconi" is referring to the radio itself. It plays a deadly snake. The snake - the mamba - is slithering from the speakers. Ready to kill greedy corporations. Ready to free the world of all that is evil, and to leave behind only the youthful idealism encompassed by the tenets of rock and roll.

Ha! I don't know the Utopia song, but my brother Matt - who's a drummer like me, but a bassist by trade - many moons ago when we were kids coined the term "Ringo-ing" to denote working the bell on ones ride cymbal (can't remember why exactly). We still call it that today (we were a pretty tough little rhythm section for about 30 years and fifty bands).

Cool! And yeah, that ride action is precisely what I'm referring to :D
