So it seems I’ll probably be most into their early (?) stuff that’s scratchier, but they definitely have an interesting mix of sounds. I’ll be checking them out for sure.
Thanks for listening and sharing your thoughts. Based on what you wrote, yup, the stuff up to 1988's Bird Wood Cage would be up your alley. The two albums in the early 90s were more electronic dancey and smooth. BWC is definitely their peak, tho.
They seem to have a bit of a Wire trajectory without the Send return. I think that if I got more into their earlier stuff I may wind up being more receptive to their electronic era. It may have just been my mood that day, too.
This was, I believe, their biggest hit, from the early 90s. I'm not keen on it.

Absolutely. Here's another collection of words:

Table salt (spoon hinge)
Octopus (Ukraine)
St. Petersburg (arms)
Ginger beer (cauliflower)
Pat Sajak (PSak)
Lamp post (self evident)
Florida Timeshare (ditto)
Heraclitus (EMI)
Developers (Developers Developers)
Boogie With Your Children

I feel bad because I think it was the Small Faces thread I started that led to the trouble. He hasn't posted much since then and that's a shame.
I just polished off some Low Country shrimp & grits and a mess of collards. That's a hell of a strain on the arm.

All's good then, I just thought it got a bit frayed in that thread. Great to hear about the gig and glad you're ok mate.

Ps. Rod sucks.
