Rock only.

Elvis Presley - Elvis Presley
Sex Pistols - NMTB
Beatles - Revolver
David Bowie - Ziggy
Led Zeppelin - IV
The Clash - London Calling
Beach Boys - Pet Sounds
Rolling Stones - Exile on Main Street
Nirvana - Nevermind
Joni Mitchell - Blue

Sorry folks. Doc's thoughts on what constitutes "essential" resonated and so I picked these albums rather than 10 personal favorites (although some of these overlap with that list as well).

well, the station's guidelines actually did say to list your personal top 10 essential albums. :shifty:

One of the more important folk rock albums, imho.

If that's too dicey, substitute the Byrds' Sweetheart of the Rodeo.

i'd reckon you could use the Amazon gift certificate so you could check out some American artists, mate! ;)
Ramones and New York Dolls self titled albums could easy make my list on another day. There are plenty of American albums that would make my top 20 or 30. But I am pretty happy with that ten I chose thank you. So you can stick your Amazon vouchers up your "expletive deleted".
