So I played Man Who Sold the World LP 6x in a row at my house, including Sunday morning with friends, then went to "Bowie Brunch" at out local bar where they played Bowie for 5 hours straight, and we got smashed, then went BACK to my pad and played Low and Aladin Sane.

Looks awesome. I wish we had something like that up here. There's going to be a tribute concert next month that my friend's band is participating in. He wouldn't tell me which songs they had chosen, but he asked if I knew how to play the bassline for Ashes to Ashes, as he was having trouble with the slapping parts.

I believe Bowie admitted in later interviews that he just didn't spend enough time or focus on production issues.
