Their xmas ep is pretty fun tho.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

I didn't know the nu-Misfits had released a Christmas album. I'm one of those people who have yet to cotton- to them without Danzig signing.
They fare poorly in a direct comparison to the real deal. But if you judge them by their own merits, they're a largely forgettable horror-themed pop-punk band.

In a nutshell that's probably why I've never been able to get into them. Sometimes you can change band members and perhaps even singers and still legitimately carry on with the same name but I think most times when you change a singer/songwriter you change the personality of the band too much to keep using the same name.

Yeah. My biggest problem with post-Danzig Misfits is that every time I choose to listen to them is a time I could just be listening to the originals.

I'm a broken record here, but once again awesome contributions!

Day 12: Joni Mitchell - River

Original Release: Blue
Year: 1971

I've had a copy of the Blue album since at least college, but I think it's only in the last 4-5 years that I came to associate this as a Christmas song. CeeLo Green actually does a really great cover of this, but the original is a masterwork whether it's really a Christmas song or not.
