the world is a terrible hellscape so this is good to me now, actually
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

I was wondering why the vocals sounded so pristine and then Stamos did that thing at around 2:08 and gave away the backing track.JoseUnidos wrote: ↑05 Jul 2017, 2:28pmThat's Mark McGrath. He used to be in a terrible band, and he's terrible. And that's John Stamos pretending to play the drums. He's equally terrible.coffeepotman wrote: ↑05 Jul 2017, 1:56pmWho/What the hell was that? Is that the so called "Beach Boys"? And who is the other guy singing, looks like Vanilla Ice? That was painful! Couldn't make it through the whole thing...and I'm a Beach Boys fan. I saw them on their 50th tour with Brian and they were awesome...I'm not sure what that was in the video.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Do It Again isn't one of their better hits, right?

Inder will rep for it, I think it's sort of fun, but kind of dire in terms their direction to golden moldies. I think it was a successful single tho.

Hey Flex, on the real, worse album: CtC or SiP?

It's catchy enough, but it's a bit pathetic in longing for the old days. Very Mike Love, wanting desperately for a return to the formula.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhblurggghhdsfd. Probably SiP. CtC has a few genuinely decent tracks and a decent "what-could-have-been" based on demos and live tracks. SiP is basically unlistenable throughout and even the live unit at the time kinda sucked.

Track 3 is Mike Love's rap debut:

How bad is that? WBTCORNR is unambiguously superior.

And it includes maybe my favorite Mike Love Rape Van couplet:
Doing unto others is the golden rule
But doing it with you would be so very cool
