Dude - that's actually not bad. Nothing to do with Bowie, but it's got a great progression and cool guitar figure (a Fender baritone?). It reminds me of a bunch of different songs, probably one particular one - some '60s Brit band maybe?

Music- and production-wise this wouldn't be out of place on the first Big Star album.

Muppet isn’t that hard to please. He likes Springsteen and the Rolling Stones. Give him generic late 70s rock and he’s satisfied.
