Thanks all for the upload(s) It's nice to revisit these again.
I bought this book/CD set back in the Dark Ages when From Here To Eternity was released. Revved up by mucho excitement and pre-release publicity, I went along to the old HMV megastore on Oxford Street to buy it, and The Clash Story was on sale in the rack with all the regular CDs.
There were a few of these dodgy semi-bootleg book things at the time, for loads of bands. Velvet Underground, Ramones, XTC spring to mind. They all had a bonus CD of rare/bootleg stuff included, usually in pretty ropey quality. But I'd never seen one for The Clash, and took the plunge.
I wasn't sure why 1-2 Crush On You was on this CD cos it wasn't part of the other 1977-era stuff, and at first sounded just liken the regular B-side.
But it is definitely a different mix, more Phil Spector wall-of-sound with the sax and piano more prominent.
I think it's the same mix as on that 'Fashion Mall / Red China' bootleg LP, and the DOA collection.

I have had my copy for years, way before 2010, so I wonder if they did a re release? Might explain why there is a few floating about.

The "other version" listed in the link says 1998. I think that sounds about right for when I got my copy.
